It is truly an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Benito Martinez Elementary School. This is my 28th year of service in public education. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, my Master's degree as an Instructional Specialist and my Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, all at UTEP. In my career, I have served as an elementary classroom teacher, instructional specialist, campus administrator, and central office coordinator.
Upon joining the team at Benito Martinez Elementary, it is evident the campus is a community of dedicated and hardworking students, educators, faculty and parents. Together we will continue to guide our Mustangs through their elementary school years, create memories and develop a legacy of learning and leadership.
I look forward to developing a partnership with each Mustang and the community. These partnerships are key to our continued and future success. I want to ensure that all stakeholders' families, teachers, faculty and staff feel welcomed and encouraged to be a part of each child’s learning experience.
I encourage every Mustang to give their best every day! We believe in each of you and look forward to being an integral part of your elementary years.
